The Swedish Federation of Business Owners (Företagarna) arranged a perspective widening breakfast meeting on the topic Brexit and Trump – What happens Now? (Brexit och Trump – vad händer nu?) on January 26, 2017. Swedish text follows further below.
Daniel Wiberg, Chief Economist at Företagarna, gave us his view of which changes we are to expect in the wake of the British exit from the EU in progress and the executions of election promises from the newly installed president of USA Donald Trump.
Karin Enström (M), Member of the Swedish Parliament and Deputy Chair of Committee of Foreign Affairs, then gave us an inspired statement on her view of the situations in the world and what can be done about it.
